About

Personal PortraitI am a former Hippie who came to faith in Christ in the summer of 1971. Originally from the Boston area, I now live in Upstate New York. In 1980 I planted a church in Hamilton, New York. Currently, I serve as the pastor of New Hope Christian Community Church in Oneida.

My wife and I will be celebrating our fortieth wedding anniversary on June 1, 2014. We have four grown children and nine grandchildren (at last count!). Two of our children are pastors, one in Western New York and the other in the Tidewater area of Virginia.

My education includes: courses in Music Education (U Mass Lowell), a Diploma in Bible (Elim Bible Institute), a BA in Religious studies (SUNY Empire State College), and graduate studies in Theology (Northeastern Seminary).

Over the years I have taught seminars and workshops on over a dozen college campuses and have made several short term missions trips to Africa and Latin America to teach in Pastors’ schools and conferences. Teaching is what I do best, and teaching pastors is about the best use of my gift that I can think of! Follow me on my Facebook page.
